We should be using them, IMHO, as a stronger version of protection. A historical lock is like "Here is a thing. Look at this thing. This thing has value, but we don't want you to change this thing." whereas closing is like "Here is a thing. This thing has little value. Don't bother looking at this thing unless you can give it more value." | |
